At least for the interim, it seems the Seattle Seahawks have found the answer to their running back problem.
After trying five different backs to replace an injured Chris Carson, Mike Davis has finally found success, carrying the rock 16 times for 64 yards against the NFL's top rushing defense in the Philadelphia Eagles. Davis added 4 catches for 37 yards to become the first Seattle back with over 100 total yards since Week 12 of 2016.
This week, he will be asked to carry a heavy load once again as Seattle's passing game will be facing the NFL's top secondary in the Jacksonville Jaguars. While the Jags' pass defense is stout, teams have been able to run on them. The Indianapolis Colts racked up 141 rushing yards on them last week, and the Arizona Cardinals gained over 100 yards on the ground against them the week before.
