6 DraftKings Bargains for Week 15

Blake Bortles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars

DraftKings Price: $5,700

Try as he might, it seems there is nothing that Blake Bortles can do to escape the bargain-bin price tag. He continues to produce fake football points at a consistent clip, but the pricing algorithm gods do not want to bestow upon him the glorious title of "mid-tier play." Will a matchup against the porous Houston Texans defense be enough to push him beyond the boundaries of this article?

Since Week 6, Bortles has returned three-times value on DraftKings -- three fantasy points for every $1,000 in salary -- in all but one week (Week 9, in a poor-weather game versus the Cleveland Browns). During that time, he has returned four-times value in three games and five-times value once.

There has, frankly, not been a better quarterback during that time with which to build cash-game lineups. Despite how he looks throwing the ball on occasion, he's had a solid floor that has (finally) forced his price to inch closer to non-bargain territory. At $5,700, he's $700 more expensive than last week but still only the 14th-highest priced quarterback on the main slate.

In Week 1, the Texans limited him to 10.3 points. However, the Texans do not have near the same defense now thanks to a slew of injuries. Houston has given up at least 300 yards or two touchdowns to opposing passers in all but two games since Week 5. Those two games came against Kevin Hogan and Joe Flacco -- not exactly "elite" plays (though I'm happy to contradict myself on the next slide). The Jacksonville Jaguars are at home this week, where Bortles averages 6.2 more points than he does on the road.

Bortles is not only a great value play, but he looks like the cash-game play of the week.
