After averaging 170.5 passing yards with just 9 touchdowns over the first 11 games this season, Joe Flacco has put up consecutive games with 269 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.
The horrific start to the season could be pinned on a preseason back injury for the Baltimore Ravens' quarterback, an injury that cost him over a month of action and all preseason games for Flacco. His excellent play the last two weeks could be the result of finally getting healthy -- plus an improved ground game for the Ravens with Alex Collins.
His performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points was impressive. This week, with the Cleveland Browns on tap, the matchup gets a lot easier.
Through 13 games, the Browns have been a bottom-four pass defense, per our metrics, while allowing the fifth-most fantasy point to a quarterback and the most passing touchdowns (26) in the NFL.
