Jay Cutler's fantasy production hasn't been consistent this season, but when you're looking at bargain-bin quarterbacks, you're not expecting to find consistency. You're generally looking for someone in a good spot who has shown the potential for big games when the matchup is right. That sums up Cutler nicely.

He has at least 15 FanDuel points in four of his last six games, topping 22 twice in that stretch. One of those sub-15 performances was Week 11, when he made an early exit with an injury, and the other came against the Buffalo Bills, who rank 13th against the pass, per our schedule-adjusted metrics

Things should be much easier for him this week against the Kansas City Chiefs. KC sits slightly below-average (17th) against the pass, and the Chiefs are allowing top-10 marks in both yards and fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. On the road, Cutler is likely to see very little ownership, making him a guy worth looking into in tournaments if you're wanting to pay down at quarterback.
