7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 16
Mike Gillislee is getting another chance in the Patriots' backfield this week. What other low-owned options could thrive in Week 16?

Antonio Gates, TE, Los Angeles Chargers

Yahoo! Ownership: 18%

After seeing a majority of the tight end snaps to start the season, Antonio Gates has taken a backseat in the Los Angeles Chargers offense to youngster Hunter Henry, playing fewer than 40% of the team's snaps since Week 10. However, with Henry done for the year with a lacerated kidney, the 37-year-old Gates moves back into a prominent role as the team's starting tight end in Week 16. The extra opportunities couldn't come at a better time, as the Chargers face the New York Jets on Sunday.

The Jets have been burned by opposing tight ends for eight touchdowns this season, the sixth-most in the NFL. Overall, they fall in the bottom quarter of the league in terms of fantasy points allowed to the position, as they've surrendered an average of 8.1 fantasy points per contest.
