The New Orleans Saints just barely qualify for this article as they're already owned in 51% of Yahoo fantasy leagues, but should the Saints be available in your league, they make for a nice play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17.
Since returning to the starting lineup in Week 13, Jameis Winston has had issues protecting the football, committing at least one turnover in every game. That's partially caused by the pressure WInston has been under from opposing defenses. Over the past four games, Winston has been sacked 18 times. Over that time span, three of the four teams to face the Bucs have finished as a top-four defense.
On the other side, the Saints' defense has been consistent from a fantasy perspective over the last month. In their past four games, the Saints have been a top-12 defense in three of those games, forcing multiple turnovers in all of those games. Although the Saints can't lock up a first-round bye, they do have something to play for on Sunday. A win over the Bucs would lock up the NFC South title and give the Saints a home game in the first round of the playoffs.
This game is projected to be a high-scoring affair, sporting a 50.5-point over/under, but the Saints are a 7.0-point favorite. With Winston's recent ball-security issues, a game in which Winston will likely have to drop back and throw often should lead to plenty of opportunity for fantasy points for the Saints' D.
