63 targets, 36 receptions, 314 yards, 4 touchdowns
-0.16 Target NEP per target
After flashing serious chemistry with Dak Prescott in 2016, Cole Beasley's performance fell off a cliff in 2017. He averaged a pitiful 5.0 yards per target, with just three games in which he averaged more than 6.4 yards per look. His season high of 59 yards didn’t come until Week 14, which was the only game in which Beasley exceeded 33 yards. His four touchdown receptions came in pairs, with two against the Green Bay Packers and two against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Prescott did not enjoy a successful sophomore campaign, with his -0.01 Passing NEP per drop back the 10th-lowest mark among quarterbacks with at least 300 drop backs. This did not lead to disaster for all of his wide receivers, though. Dez Bryant was disappointing himself for much of the season, but managed 0.01 Target NEP per target, while Terrance Williams paced all Cowboys wide receivers with 0.14.
