Byron Pringle, 6'2" and 205 pounds, scored a combine invite after a 30-catch season at Kansas State. A big part of that was the fact that he recorded a yards per catch average of 24.1 yards (724 yards) and had 6 touchdowns.
The big-play threat had a 22.5% market share overall but had just a 51.7% catch rate.
Pringle's standout games were all low-volume outings in terms of receptions.
He topped 40% of K-State's receiving yards at Oklahoma State (41st in S&P+ pass defense; 4 catches for 166 yards and 3 touchdowns), at Kansas (108th; 3 for 92), home against Texas Christian (15th; 3 for 80), and home against Oklahoma (58th; 2 for 70).
