Fantasy Football: One Potential Cut Candidate for Every NFC Team
With the offseason soon to begin in earnest, here is one fantasy-relevant player on each NFC squad who may find themselves heading out the door.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Doug Martin

Cap Savings: $6,750,000

After missing the first three games of the season, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin returned with something approaching a bang against the New England Patriots in Week 4. Martin rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown at a 5.69 yards per attempt against the Pats. He didn't amass more yards in another game, and over his next 10 games, just once did he average better than 3.94 yards per carry in a contest.

On a per-snap basis, Martin was every bit as terrible as those numbers suggest. Only three running backs with at least 100 rushes had a Rushing NEP per carry clip worse than his -0.16 mark, and he ranked dead last among that subset in Success Rate. Early reports from beat writers agree that Martin's time with the Buccaneers is up.
