Fantasy Football: 10 Running Backs to Target in PPR Leagues
Chris Thompson was a monster last year before getting injured, and he should be a pass-game maven again in 2018. Which other backs should be on your radar in PPR leagues?

Gio Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals

Standard Running Back Projection: 41st
PPR Running Back Projection: 40th
PPR Average Draft Position: 11.05 (RB48)

Despite having just two games with at least 100 total yards last year, Giovani Bernard ended the season as the PPR RB27. Ideally, we'd like to have a better weekly ceiling, but we can stomach Bernard's warts at the cost of RB48.

The backfield in Cincinnati should be Joe Mixon's, but we project Bernard to still garner a solid amount of work -- 92 carries and 39 receptions. We have the Bengals projected for the eighth-fewest wins (7.3), and without Jeremy Hill in the mix, Bernard should be locked into a solid role.

While his lack of touchdown upside makes him someone you don't want to rely on each week outside of deep formats, Bernard is a solid bench piece who can give you a decent floor as a bye-week starter.
