Newly acquired Baltimore Ravens wide receiver John Brown burst on the scene as a second-year player in Arizona, posting a 1,000-yard season. Since then, Brown has struggled through health and performance issues. Most notably, Brown hauled in only 54 and 38 percent of his targets over the past two seasons after grabbing 64 percent in his breakout campaign.
New scenery may give new life to Brown in conjunction with what appears to be an invigorated Joe Flacco.
Really good practice for Flacco besides an interception in a red zone drill. Best throw was a 50 yard TD to John Brown who beat Marlon Humphrey. Brown was all over the field. Beat Humphrey on two long ones. Also caught another TD with a leaping catch in corner.

Once heralded for his deep-ball abilities, Flacco ranked dead last in 2017 in yards per attempt out of 35 quarterbacks with at least 200 attempts. The arrival of rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson may have rattled Flacco's cage and offers some hope for a Brown resurgence.

The narrative is fun and all, but Brown has really made consistent noise for the Ravens thus far in camp with explosive speed and great ball skills. His spot on the depth chart appears rock solid, and he is a great speculative add late in your league.
