Leonard Fournette was not a particularly effective runner in his 2017 rookie campaign, but he was able to establish a very respectable floor despite a below-average 34.33% Rushing Success Rate.
His 3.9 yards per carry fell below the Mendoza line, but he figures to be a volume monster in 2018 for as long as he can stay healthy. Plus, it was reported that Fournette showed up to camp 12 pounds leaner.
After reporting at 223 pounds for ’18 training camp, @_fournette continued to be impressive early in camp.

While his power makes him unique, a slightly sleeker frame could make Fournette a bit more quick-footed and explosive. Based on expected volume alone, Fournette is well worth his cost at the moment if you miss out on the initial crop of elite running backs, but his ceiling would get a boost if he adds some burst.
