Fantasy Football: 7 Sleeper Quarterbacks to Target in 2018
Our football staff breaks down this year's high-upside quarterbacks to look for late in your fantasy drafts.

Tyrod Taylor, Cleveland Browns

Even after racking up more than 760 fantasy points since 2015 -- the 12th-most of any quarterback, Tyrod Taylor finds himself in the bargain bins of fantasy drafts, currently going in the 14th round as QB25. Concerns about his long-term hold on the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback job are valid, but the coaching staff appears locked in on Taylor as their man this season, even with Baker Mayfield waiting in the wings. TyGod's performance in the preseason opener -- 5-for-5, 99 yards, and 1 touchdown -- did nothing but solidify his position as the starter.

You can't blame head coach Hue Jackson for his confidence in Taylor as the quarterback has proven to be one of the NFL's best passers in terms of ball security. His 0.95% interception rate -- 4 picks on 420 pass attempts -- was tops in the NFL in 2017. And over the last three seasons, only Tom Brady (1.04%) has posted a lower interception rate than Taylor (1.29%).

However, it hasn't been just error-free football that has helped Taylor to finishes of QB16, QB8, and QB16 in fantasy the last three years. His elite rushing ability provides him with a solid fantasy floor on a week-to-week basis. Since 2015, only Cam Newton has rushed for more yards or touchdowns from the quarterback position while Taylor's produced 1,575 yards and 14 scores in that span.

Escaping the unimaginative Buffalo offense, not to mention getting the chance to play with an improved receiving corps, will help boost Taylor's ceiling as well in 2018. The Bills were 31st in pass attempts, while the Browns ranked 9th in 2017. The potential for a big fantasy season is there for Taylor, and for virtually no cost in today's drafts. --Dale Redman
