Yahoo Ownership Percentage: 36%
Starting running backs should be owned in fantasy football. It's that simple.
Jordan Wilkins' 14 rushing attempts and 3 targets last week were by far the most out of the Indianapolis Colts' backfield.
Obviously, Marlon Mack's potential return in Week 2 could muddy things, but Mack has been recovering from this hamstring injury for a month now. There's no guarantee that Mack is ready by Week 2 or that he doesn't suffer a setback if he does try to play.
Also, there's no guarantee Mack is the clear-cut starter. Mack was a fourth-round pick a year ago, and Wilkins was a fifth-round pick this year. In one of the NFL's better offenses, Wilkins should be rostered in every league.
Wilkins is in a good spot next week, as well. In 2017, Washington allowed 84% of the rushing attempts they faced to gain positive yardage, the highest rate in the NFL.
