Fantasy Football: 6 Things We Learned in Week 1

Corey Davis is Going to Be a Target Monster

For better or for worse, Corey Davis is going to see a TON of work in 2018. His 14 targets in Week 1 tied for sixth-most in the league, and following superstar tight end Delanie Walker's brutal ankle injury, Davis' opportunities only project to go up from there.

The good news is that his opportunity share is going to be elite. The bad news is that even with those 14 targets, he only managed to secure 6 for 62 yards, and only the 19th-most air yards in league (113). That inefficiency only figures to get worse if quarterback Marcus Mariota misses time with the elbow injury he suffered during the game.

In fantasy football, volume is everything. Without ample opportunities, even the very best players struggle to produce (except you, Alvin Kamara). Davis will be given every opportunity to succeed this year, and that's something you should want for your fantasy teams.
