Jesse James Led All Week 2 Pass Catchers with 2.24 Reception NEP per Target

Despite constantly trailing Vance McDonald in the hearts and eyes of fantasy players, Steelers tight end Jesse James continues to be a steady contributor for his team. In 2017, out of 26 tight ends to see at least 60 targets, James' 0.25 Reception NEP per target was bettered by only nine players.

During Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, James saw only five targets, but he was able to convert these limited opportunities into 5 receptions for a team-high 138 yards and a touchdown. In terms of NEP, of all pass catchers to see at least five targets this week, none could come close to his 2.24 Reception NEP per target.

McDonald also saw five targets on Sunday, but he was not nearly as productive as James. He finished with 3 receptions for a mere 26 yards.
