Week 1 was a surprisingly poor one as far as waiver wire options go. Usually, the first week of the season brings a ton of surprises and clears up a lot of uncertainty, leaving huge value all over the waiver wire. That wasn't the case this year.
Things are starting to get more interesting in Week 2, though. We now have increased sample sizes to draw from, allowing us to start to look for trends and consistency in usage and snaps. This helps identify which strong Week 1 performances were flukes and which were signs that a player is worth owning in fantasy football.
