You might not even need to put in a waiver claim on Rashard Higgins -- with Antonio Callaway named the starter and notching a touchdown in Week 2, he's going to be the Cleveland Browns' wideout that most people have on their radar. But Higgins is certainly worth a claim this week.
Despite the fact that Callaway was listed as a starter with the Browns having moved on from Josh Gordon, Callaway didn't out-snap Higgins by a big margin, playing 50 snaps to Higgins' 46. This comes after Higgins had a huge edge in snaps in Week 1, at 54 to 15, meaning that even before Gordon was gone, it looked like Cleveland was planning to make Higgins a significant part of the offense.
With that big edge in snaps in Week 1, it wasn't much of a surprise when Higgins saw four targets to only one for Callaway. What does come as a bit of a surprise, though, is that Higgins tied Jarvis Landry with a team-high seven targets in Week 2. Despite the edge in snaps, Callaway saw only four targets in that one.
Volume is king in fantasy football, and Higgins has ranked top-two in targets among Cleveland wideouts in each of the first two games of the season. His production has been modest so far, but those targets leave him offering plenty of value.
