With Blake Bortles coming off a monster 32.58-point day in a superb display against the New England Patriots in Week 2, this feels like point chasing. But Bortles has been a quality fantasy quarterback in his career, and he's got a sweet home matchup with the Tennessee Titans.
Bortles is the overall QB8 this year, with the Week 2 outing obviously carrying a lot of weight in a two-game sample. While we shouldn't expect many 30-point days from Bortles, here are his season-long finishes at the QB position over the last three years, starting with 2017: QB13, QB9, and QB4.
That's pretty darn good, and his running ability -- at least 300 rushing yards and 2 scores in each of those three seasons -- gives his fantasy floor a nice boost.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are 6.5-point favorites with a 23.0-point implied total, and our schedule-adjusted metrics rank Tennessee as the 10th-worst pass defense. We project Bortles for 17.51 fantasy points, and he's our QB16 for Week 3.
