After having his rookie season wiped out due to injury in 2017, Jake Butt has finally gotten the chance to prove himself as a fantasy-worthy asset in 2018. Following a 4-catch, 48-yard performance in Week 2, the second-year tight end from Michigan has made his way onto the streaming radar.
A John Mackey Award winner in 2016 -- which is the award for the most outstanding college tight end -- Butt has collected 8 targets through his first two NFL games, despite playing less than 50% of the Denver Broncos' snaps. The bulk of Butt's playing time has come when the Broncos have been trailing, something they are likely to be doing against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3.
The Ravens are currently 5.0-point favorites over the Broncos. That could lead to more looks for Butt as he has pulled in all six of his receptions when the Broncos were losing, with half of those (and 58 yards) coming in the fourth quarter. The Ravens haven't been stout against tight ends, giving up the 11th-most receiving yards to the position so far in 2018, and they ended the 2017 season allowing the 8th-most fantasy points to tight ends.
