5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 3

Justin Tucker Makes Two 50-Yard Field Goals Again

After a rough Week 2 for many players at the position, one of the best kickers in the NFL had a very successful Week 3.

Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens made two of his three field goal attempts against the Denver Broncos, both from 52 yards out. This marked the sixth time that Tucker had nailed multiple 50-yarders in the same game, the most of any kicker in NFL history.

Since entering the league in 2012, Tucker has become the standard by which all other kickers aspire to. He has converted 207 of his 230 field goal attempts, which are both the most in the NFL in that time. He is also one of three kickers with at least 100 extra point attempts to have made every single one of them between 2012 and 2018. The other two are Shaun Suisham (118/118 between 2012 and 2014 for the Pittsburgh Steelers) and Garrett Hartley (100/100 for the New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns between 2012 and 2014).
