DraftKings Price: $8,700
Projected Points: 25.6
While I do love Michael Thomas in this same game, I think we can possibly get Odell Beckham at lower ownership than Thomas. Anytime a player like Beckham is going to be lower owned than players around him at the same price tag, he deserves serious consideration.
The Saints' defense has been an absolute mess in 2018, as they have allowed opposing teams to score a ridiculous 103 points against them this year (34.3 per game). No team in the NFL is allowing that many points per game. On top of that, the Saints are allowing opposing quarterbacks to pass for 336.7 yards per game. If we look at our numberFire advanced stats, we see that the Saints are the 32nd-ranked team against opposing wide receivers by DraftKings scoring.
Beckham has also taken a massive slice of the pie in New York, as he's commanding the sixth-highest target market share in the NFL (31.19%). This means that Eli Manning is targeting him early and often. Odell has also been targeted on 33.33% of Manning's red zone throws this year.
A threat to take it to the house from anywhere on the field, Odell is the wide receiver I am willing to pay up for in the hopes that he delivers in spectacular fashion in this matchup.
