The Carolina Panthers take on the New York Giants this week. What other defenses sitting on the waiver wire can you pick up and plug into your Week 5 lineups?

Cincinnati Bengals

Yahoo Ownership: 10%
numberFire Projected Rank: 6th

The Cincinnati Bengals defense hasn't been great this year, ranking as the league's 19th-best, per numberFire metrics. But the Bengals will be getting Vontaze Burfict back this week following his 4-game suspension and now face a Miami Dolphins team that just got lit up by the New England Patriots in Week 4.

Ryan Tannehill threw for just 100 yards in the Week 4 loss, throwing 1 interception and taking 2 sacks. Tannehill played so poorly that he was benched in the second half in favor of Brock Osweiler. The matchup won't get any easier in Week 5 on the road against a Bengals defense that ranks 4th in quarterback hits (29), even though they only rank 12th in sacks (10).

Cincinnati's offense is 4th in the league with 31.5 points per game, so Tannehill should once again be challenged to keep pace. That could be tough for Tannehill as he only averages 25 pass attempts per game, 34th-most among quarterbacks this season.

The Bengals are a 6.0-point home favorite in this game and with Tannehill facing a negative game script, making the Bengals another solid streaming option.
