Patrick Mahomes has been the darling of the NFL through the quarter pole of the season and for good reason. The Chiefs gunslinger has compiled a 14:0 touchdown-to-interception ratio while throwing for at least 300 yards and 3 touchdowns in three of his first four games.

While the youngster proved that he is approaching matchup-proof status last week against a stout Broncos pass defense, Mahomes faces another test this week against the formidable Jacksonville Jaguars attack. The Jags have allowed the fewest passing yards per game (164.2), and have also allowed the fewest total yards per game (259.2).

As the QB1 in terms of pricing on FanDuel, there are more appealing options in the $8,000 range in Ben Roethlisberger and Matt Ryan, who square off in a game that features a projected total of 58.0 points. Hopefully Mahomes is kept in check this week in a tough matchup so we can go right back to the well following the team's bye in Week 7.
