7 FanDuel NFL Value Plays for Week 5

Dion Lewis, RB, Tennessee Titans

Price: $5,700

After a few good weeks for running back value, it gets much worse in Week 5. Outside of injury replacements, running back is generally a tough position to find value at, because volume is crucial to fantasy production at the position and high-volume backs tend to earn a back a high price-tag.

Dion Lewis is a bit of an exception, though, with a salary that doesn't reflect the kind of work he's been seeing.

He has hit the 14-carry mark twice this season, and while he saw a season-low 4 rush attempts in Week 4, he combined that with a season-high 9 targets, giving him at least 8 looks in two games.

He is being out-touched on the ground by Derrick Henry (who has 54 carries to Lewis' 43), but Lewis has added 21 targets to only 4 for Henry, giving Lewis a significant edge in opportunities (rush attempts plus targets).

Lewis has also out-snapped Henry by a sizable margin this year, playing 61% of the Tennessee Titans' offensive snaps, compared to 41% for Henry. In Week 4, the gap was even bigger -- at 68% to 39% in favor of Lewis.

The Titans are up against the Buffalo Bills this week, and Buffalo has given up top-10 fantasy production to opposing running backs in 2018. Lewis should have little trouble turning his volume into production here.
