As has become something of a weekly tradition over the last two seasons, the tight end position (outside of the top tier) is a mess in fantasy football this week.
That means that, even though the Arizona Cardinals' 18.25-point implied total is a terrible mark, Ricky Seals-Jones can still offer some interesting value against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Niners have been middling against the pass this season, ranking 15th in numberFire's metrics, but they're allowing top-7 fantasy numbers to the tight end position, giving up a touchdown to the position in all four games this season.
Seals-Jones has continued to serve as the Cardinals' top tight end even with Jermaine Gresham back in action over the last two weeks, and actually posted his two highest yardage totals (and scored his only touchdown) in those two games.
He's far from a high-floor option, especially playing in such a weak offense, but his matchup this week gives him some interesting upside.
