3 Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Options for Week 7

Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns

Yahoo Ownership: 42%

Baker Mayfield surpasses our ownership cutoff by a little bit, but since he's on the wire in more than half of leagues, he's worth mentioning.

While Mayfield turned in a dud in Week 6, throwing 2 picks and totaling just 12.32 fantasy points against the Chargers, he's about to embark on a stretch of tasty matchups. Here are his next four opponents before the Cleveland Browns' Week 11 bye -- Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Kansas City and Atlanta. All four of those defenses are struggling mightily against the pass, and Mayfield has a chance to be a high-end fantasy producer during this upcoming span.

The run starts with a Week 7 road game at the Bucs, a team that has given up the most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. They've allowed 34, 48 and 30 real-world points across their last three outings, with Ben Roethlisberger, Mitchell Trubisky and Matt Ryan combining for 12 touchdowns versus Tampa in that span. The Bucs are a pass-funnel D, ranking 2nd-worst against the pass and 16th versus the run, per our metrics.

Mayfield has attempted 46, 43 and 41 passes across his last three games, and only one of them (last week) was a negative game script. He could go off for a ceiling game this week, and we project him for 17.72 fantasy points, making him our QB17.
