Over/Under: 50.5
Buccaneers Implied Team Total: 27.00
Browns Implied Team Total: 23.50
Ready for this tasty nugget? The over has hit in every single game the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have played in this season, per Rich Hribar of Rotoworld. So, yeah, you'll want some action from this one. With such a skinny target tree, the Cleveland Browns are easier to figure out right now. Where it becomes difficult is pinpointing the plays on the Tampa Bay side. As the FitzMagic has run dry, we'll have to see what Jameis Winston, Baker Mayfield and their receivers can do in an NFC-AFC clash.
David Njoku, TE, Cleveland Browns
FanDuel Price: $5,700
Finally living up to his athletic hype, David Njoku is a borderline must-play this weekend. No team has allowed more FanDuel points to tight ends than the Buccaneers, who were most recently burned by Austin Hooper for 9 catches, 71 yards and a touchdown. Njoku is the TE6 since Mayfield took over but is not priced as such. Third among tight ends in targets since Mayfield took over, Njoku is squarely in play in all formats.
Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns
FanDuel Price: $7,100
It might seem odd to focus on two players on the lower-totaled side, but the Tampa defense has seriously been that bad. As with tight ends, no team has allowed better fantasy production to quarterbacks than the Bucs. Mayfield's cheap price allows you to fit in high-priced studs, and he makes for a great pivot off Mitchell Trubisky, who should be a popular play. Baker has attempted at least 40 passes in 3 straight games, so this might just be the week he puts it all together for an explosive fantasy performance.
Others to Consider
The Buccaneers have been strongest against the run, while the Cleveland backfield is a nightmare. Let's stick to the passing game, where Jarvis Landry ($6,500) is a cinch cash play. He's seen at least 10 targets in every game Baker has started, yet his price has dropped due to 2 down games. The Bucs have been roasted in the slot all year long and simply don't have the personnel to hang with Landry there. This is the week he gets off the schneid.
The difficult part is forecasting who to use on the Tampa Bay offense outside of Winston ($7,800). Cleveland has been somewhat stingy to quarterbacks not named Derek Carr, so it's best to use Winston as a GPP option.
A big game is coming soon for Mike Evans ($7,800), but he figures to get the shadow coverage of exciting rookie Denzel Ward. He's definitely a GPP option capable of winning that matchup, but his target share so far hasn't put him in the cash conversation. Tyrell Williams flamed the Browns for two deep touchdowns last Sunday, which puts DeSean Jackson ($6,700) on the GPP map as well, but it would be nicer if this low-floor player had a lower price to match. Chris Godwin ($6,400) is a fun young player, and he's scored a touchdown in four of five games. Does that seem sustainable to you?
The only sneaky option left is O.J. Howard ($5,800). He's a worthy pivot off Njoku if you want to be contrarian, and the hope is that Cameron Brate's ($4,700) Week 6 touchdown ultimately lower's Howard's ownership. Brate saw just one target in the game, so Howard may be leaned on heavily to help mitigate a strong Cleveland pass rush.
