In 2017, Robby Anderson ranked 17th in half-point-per-reception (0.5-PPR) formats. So far in 2018, things haven't been so peachy, as Anderson ranks only 55th in that same format. That's largely thanks to a slow start which saw Anderson record a total of 8 catches for 108 receiving yards in his first 4 games.
While Anderson busted loose with one big week so far -- a 3-catch, 123-receiving yard, 2-touchdown performance in Week 5 -- the volume has been what's been the most encouraging as of late. Anderson recorded five-target weeks in Weeks 5 and 6, and followed that up this week with 10 looks from Sam Darnold.
That makes adding Anderson even juicier, as he faces a Chicago Bears defense that's been rinsed by wide receivers lately. Both Albert Wilson (6 catches, 155 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns) and Josh Gordon (4-100-0) have had their way with this secondary, so Anderson could be in line for a big Week 8.
