Between the Lines: Week 7 Snap Count Analysis
Josh Gordon has seen his snaps increase in each week he has been a Patriot. What other trends should you have your eye on?

NFC North

Chicago Bears - Cohen Tops 50%

Quarterback: Mitchell Trubisky (100%)

Running Backs: Jordan Howard (56%), Tarik Cohen (51%)

Wide Receivers: Taylor Gabriel (78%), Allen Robinson (73%), Anthony Miller (63%), Kevin White (24%)

Tight Ends: Trey Burton (85%), Dion Sims (20%)

In yet another sign that the Chicago Bears backfield is shifting more towards Tarik Cohen, the diminutive player out of North Carolina A&T saw more than 50% of the Bears' snaps for the first time this season. He caught at least seven passes for the third week in a row, all games in which he's found the end zone as well. He out-touched Jordan Howard for the second time in three weeks and has made a case for being the fantasy back you want to own in Chicago, PPR leagues or not.

Detroit Lions - Finally. Finally a #1 RB in Detroit

Quarterback: Matthew Stafford (100%)

Running Back: Kerryon Johnson (59%), LeGarrette Blount (33%), Nick Bellore (22%)

Wide Receiver: Marvin Jones (88%), Kenny Golladay (77%), Golden Tate (72%)

Tight Ends: Luke Willson (64%), Levine Toilolo (33%), Michael Roberts (30%)

It happened. It finally happened. The Detroit Lions stuck to one running back, and it has reaped major rewards. Kerryon Johnson was on the field for 59% of the Lions' plays, tying a season-high for Detroit backs. Moore importantly, he carried the ball 19 times for 158 yards, or 8.3 yards per carry. Since a season-opening loss to the Jets, the Lions have gone 3-2 with their only losses coming by a combined five points. Like Mack with Luck in Indy, Johnson and Stafford could make a dangerous combination going forward.

Green Bay Packers - Bye Week

Minnesota Vikings - Murray Making Cook Disappear from Thought

Quarterback: Kirk Cousins (100%)

Running Backs: Latavius Murray (84%), Mike Boone (12%)

Wide Receivers: Adam Thielen (96%), Stefon Diggs (91%), Laquon Treadwell (74%)

Tight Ends: Kyle Rudolph (81%), David Morgan (35%)

Dalvin Cook will clearly be the lead back for the Minnesota Vikings when he's healthy. Until then, the team will be more than content to ride Latavius Murray to victory. Murray was on the field for over 80% of the Vikings' snaps for the second week in a row. He hit pay dirt twice this week, and his 4.8 yards per carry are tied for 10th in the league. The team should have no trouble moving the ball through the air this week against the New Orleans Saints, so Murray might have the opportunity to add another score or two, though yardage will be tougher to come by.
