With Miami's receiver corps crippled by injuries, DeVante Parker had a big day in Week 8. Which other players are worth picking up?

Elijah McGuire, RB, New York Jets

Running backs are hard to come by, but Elijah McGuire is still out there in almost every fantasy football league. He's been on the injured reserve for the start of the season and returned to practice last week -- just in time to fill Bilal Powell's shoes.

The sophomore running back played behind both Powell and Matt Forte in his rookie season, but he did manage to have a breakout game against the legendary 2017 Jacksonville Jaguars defense in which he took 10 carries for 93 yards and added another 38 yards on 2 receptions. He handled an elite 15.4% target share in college, so you know he can catch passes in addition to toting the rock. That's all you can ask for in a running back.

He'll be running beside Isaiah Crowell, but Powell still averaged more than 10 carries and about a few targets per game in that role. Trenton Cannon hasn't built much of a case for himself in his first two games, so McGuire could have a solid role in almost immediately. He's absolutely worth a pickup if you're looking for help at the running back position.
