We did it folks. For the second time this season, one of our bold predictions hit.
We only hit on one of last week's bold predictions, but that's still a marked improvement from weeks past. Devontae Booker did not outscore Phillip Lindsay, though he did have his best game of the season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did post solid numbers across the board but just missed putting a running back and a quarterback in the top 12 in scoring in their respective positions. Tre'Quan Smith did not dunk on the Minnesota Vikings at all, as Drew Brees threw a season-low 23 passes. Doug Martin had one of his best games in years but failed to cross the century mark in rushing yards. And finally, D.J. Moore, my hero, led the Carolina Panthers in receiving yards and even added 39 rushing yards to boot.
I've been coasting off that 'W' all week, so let's try to keep this thing rolling. Here are five bold predictions for Week 9.
