7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 9
Devontae Booker shined in Week 8 and could play a large role for Denver again this Sunday. What other low-owned options are we looking at for Week 9?

T.J. Jones, WR, Detroit Lions

Yahoo! Ownership: 1%

The Detroit Lions' somewhat surprising trade of Golden Tate has opened up playing time for wide receiver T.J. Jones.

The fourth-year wideout has only six targets this season, but proved in 2017 to be a reliable weapon when called upon. Last year, he made six starts totaling 14 catches for 207 yards. He played in over 65% of snaps in those games and is expected to play a similar role again this year as the now de facto number-three receiver in Detroit. Tate was on the field for a minimum of 75% of offensive plays each game this year.

Facing a middle-of-the-road Minnesota Vikings pass defense allowing the15th-lowest passing yards per game, but ranking top-5 in rushing defense, the Lions may be forced to turn to the air more often. The Vikings are also 5.0-point home favorites over Detroit on Sunday.

Available in virtually every league, Jones could be the bye week savior for those wideout desperate teams in 14- or 16-team leagues.
