5 NFL Red Zone Trends to Monitor for Week 10
Larry Fitzgerald has seen a significant spike in red zone targets over his last couple of games. What other trends should you have your eye on this week?

Marcus Mariota's Upside Is Back

Marcus Mariota's red zone rushing is always going to put him in a top tier for touchdown potential, but his injury woes early in the season seemed to limit his upside, both on the ground and through the air.

From Weeks 1-6, Mariota only recorded one red zone carry, while attempting more than three red zone passes only once. He turned that small workload into two passing and one rushing touchdown, failing to notch any touchdowns in four of his first five games of the year.

The last two games have been an entirely different story though. He attempted eight red zone passes in Week 7 (converting one into a touchdown), while also running the ball twice. Getting a bye week to heal, he came out even more impressively in Week 9, turning seven pass attempts into two touchdowns and scoring a touchdown on his four red zone carries.

With two weeks of an expanded workload and his health not expected to be an issue anymore, this recent touchdown production is something we can expect more of.
