Chris Herndon has seen his role steadily expand for the Jets.
After falling for a couple of games, his share of the team's offensive snaps has jumped in each of the last two outings -- 50% in Week 8 and 64% in Week 9. Unlike his high-snap games earlier in the season, this recent playing time has come with some significant work in the passing game as he's turned 13 targets into 9 receptions over his last three games.
Now, that's obviously not especially big volume, but with the state of the tight end position this season, it's actually pretty encouraging.
Herndon has hit double-digit fantasy points in three of his last four games (with 8.6 in the exception), and the Bills have allowed touchdowns to opposing tight ends in two of their last three games.
