Buffalo Bills - Barkley's Light Is Fleeting
Quarterbacks: Matt Barkley (100%)
Running Backs: LeSean McCoy (67%), Marcus Murphy (33%)
Wide Receivers: Zay Jones (85%), Kelvin Benjamin (51%), Robert Foster (45%), Terrelle Pryor (42%), Ray-Ray McCloud (26%)
Tight End: Jason Croom (60%), Logan Thomas (41%)
While Nathan Peterman's 8.6% interception rate is, shockingly, better than last year's 10.2%, it was bad enough that the Buffalo Bills finally said they had enough and started Matt Barkley in Week 10. Barkley promptly led the Bills to their biggest win of the season, a 41-10 victory over the New York Jets. Of course, success isn't rewarded in Buffalo. After this week's bye, it will likely be rookie Josh Allen who gets the starting nod. Hopefully Barkley's solid performance will be enough to keep him on a team next season, but there are no assurances in the fickle NFL.
Miami Dolphins - Parker Down for the Count
Quarterback: Brock Osweiler (100%)
Running Backs: Kenyan Drake (50%), Frank Gore (43%)
Wide Receivers: Danny Amendola (97%), Kenny Stills (96%), DeVante Parker (66%), Leonte Carroo (24%), Jakeem Grant (12%)
Tight Ends: A.J. Derby (44%), Nick O'Leary (31%), Michael Gesicki (29%)
Despite seeing a team-high 11 targets in Week 10, DeVante Parker was forced out of the game with a shoulder injury -- explaining his lower snap rate -- and he is considered week-to-week. Jakeem Grant was carted off with a serious leg injury, but luckily for the Dolphins it is not considered season-ending. Miami has the bye week to recover, but they're running low on healthy bodies in their receiving corp.
New England Patriots - Gordon Grows
Quarterback: Tom Brady (88%), Brian Hoyer (12%)
Running Backs: James White (67%), Sony Michel (26%)
Wide Receivers: Josh Gordon (83%), Julian Edelman (82%), , Chris Hogan (82%), Phillip Dorsett (23%), Cordarrelle Patterson (18%)
Tight End: Dwayne Allen (64%), Jacob Hollister (33%)
For the first time this year, Josh Gordon led all New England Patriots receivers in snaps. Though he took a step back from last week's 130-yard-plus-touchdown performance, his 12 targets this past week set a season high. He now has 80-plus yards receiving in three of his past four games and will likely be a member of many a fantasy championship team when all is said and done this year.
New York Jets - Who to Trust?
Quarterback: Josh McCown (100%)
Running Backs: Elijah McGuire (57%), Isaiah Crowell (34%), Trenton Cannon (23%)
Wide Receivers: Quincy Enunwa (96%), Jermaine Kearse (89%), Rishard Matthews (41%), Charone Peake (39%)
Tight Ends: Chris Herndon (64%), Jordan Leggett (30%), Eric Tomlinson (23%)
When your team loses to the 2-7 Buffalo Bills 41-10, somebody deserves to be fired. Josh McCown's spot start for the injured Sam Darnold went about as bad as possible, and it may happen again after the Jets' bye as Darnold may not be ready to face the Patriots. The only snaps you should be worried about that week are those played by the Patriots' defense, who will be one of the most popular streaming plays. Pick them up a week early if they're on the waiver and you have the space on your roster.
