Denver Broncos - Bye Week
Kansas City Chiefs - Thinking about Ware Your Team Is
Quarterback: Patrick Mahomes (100%)
Running Backs: Kareem Hunt (73%), Spencer Ware (34%)
Wide Receivers: Tyreek Hill (92%), Chris Conley (92%), Demarcus Robinson (73%)
Tight End: Travis Kelce (98%), Demetrius Harris (24%)
Look, we all hate Week 17 championships, but they still exist out there in the fantasy ether. If you are in one such league, then consider adding Spencer Ware onto your rosters now if you have the space. The Chiefs still have a lot of work to do to secure their division title, let alone a bye week or the number-one seed, but if they're able to do it, Ware will have a glorious matchup as the likely starter against the Oakland Raiders at home in Week 17, a team that has given up an average of over 150 rushing yards per game to opposing backs in their past four games. Think ahead. Win.
Los Angeles Chargers - Tyrell Getting More Looks?
Quarterback: Philip Rivers (100%)
Running Backs: Melvin Gordon (80%), Austin Ekeler (36%)
Wide Receivers: Keenan Allen (89%), Tyrell Williams (80%), Mike Williams (46%), Travis Benjamin (23%)
Tight Ends: Virgil Green (84%), Sean Culkin (20%), Antonio Gates (20%)
Tyrell Williams got more than five targets in a game for the first time all season in the Los Angeles Chargers' 20-6 win over the Oakland Raiders this past week. If he can add that type of target consistency going forward, he could morph into a decent flex play instead of a boom-or-bust option. With plus matchups against the Arizona Cardinals and Bengals in the next few games, Williams could be worth a look.
Oakland Raiders - Diamond in the Rough
Quarterback: Derek Carr (100%)
Running Backs: Doug Martin (48%), Jalen Richard (43%), DeAndre Washington (10%)
Wide Receivers: Brandon LaFell (90%), Jordy Nelson (68%), Martavis Bryant (56%), Seth Roberts (44%)
Tight Ends: Jared Cook (59%), Lee Smith (37%), Derek Carrier (29%)
The Raiders are awful; we all know that. However, even awful teams have reliable fantasy players, and Doug Martin has been that guy for them the past three weeks. In that span, he's averaging a shade over 10 PPR points per game. While that's not winning you a week on its own, it's good enough to use him as a flex play or RB3 in leagues with larger rosters if you are thin at the position. He should not still be available in 54% of Yahoo leagues, but here we are.
