Week 10's zero-target game scared a lot of people off Tre'Quan Smith, leaving the number-two wideout on one of the league's best passing attacks available in three-quarters of leagues.
Smith bounced back in a huge way in Week 11, leading the New Orleans Saints with 14 targets and finishing as the overall WR2 in fantasy football (pending Monday Night Football).
He's played more than two-thirds of the team's offensive snaps every game since Week 5, so even when his targets were down it's not like he had disappeared from the offense, and this explosion of volume means that his fantasy value may not be as closely tied to his touchdown production as it has been so far.
He doesn't project to out-target Michael Thomas again, and it's not like he's now the featured piece in the offense, but like with Josh Reynolds, playing a significant role in an explosive unit is very appealing.
Week 12's matchup is also about as good as it gets. FanDuel Sportsbook gives the Saints a huge 36-point implied total, and they're up against an Atlanta Falcons defense that (again, heading into Week 11) numberFire had ranked only 29th against the pass.
