It's been an up-and-down season for the Tennessee Titans and for quarterback Marcus Mariota in particular. The team's loss to the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football was certainly a down for the team, but it was a banner day for Mariota.
Mariota completed 22 of his 23 pass attempts on his way to 304 yards and 2 touchdowns, giving him a 95.7% completion percentage for the night. Mariota was the second quarterback this week to complete at least 95% of his passes (minimum 20 attempts) after Philip Rivers. But while Rivers saw his team to victory, Mariota became just the second quarterback in the Super Bowl era with a 90% completion rate on 15 or more attempts to lose. The other player was Derek Carr in Week 2 of this season.
Mariota has scored at least 22 fantasy points in three of his last four games (he missed the majority of the other, to be fair). He gets a nice matchup against the New York Jets next week, and he should be a popular streaming option for that one.
