Between the Lines: Week 13 Snap Count Analysis
Chris Thompson got a lot of run in his first week back from injury. Could he prove to be a postseason savior with Mark Sanchez under center in Washington?

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens - TyMont Resurgence

Quarterbacks: Lamar Jackson (81%), Robert Griffin III (20%)

Running Backs: Gus Edwards (49%), Ty Montgomery (33%), Kenneth Dixon (21%)

Wide Receivers: Willie Snead (81%), Chris Moore (63%), John Brown (53%), Michael Crabtree (44%)

Tight Ends: Nick Boyle (62%), Mark Andrews (40%), Hayden Hurst (26%), Maxx Williams (26%)

Though he isn't going to see a ton of work in the run game with Gus the Bus, that's not the main reason to roster Ty Montgomery anyway. Though he saw a slight dip in snaps this week, his usage in the Baltimore Ravens' passing game was up. His five catches were his second-highest total of the season, and there's no reason to think he won't be involved going forward as the Ravens make a push towards the playoffs. He's an intriguing PPR Flex play.

Cincinnati Bengals - Green Gone

Quarterback: Jeff Driskel (100%)

Running Backs: Joe Mixon (57%), Mark Walton (41%)

Wide Receivers: Tyler Boyd (97%), John Ross (88%), Cody Core (51%), A.J. Green (25%),

Tight End: C.J. Uzomah (99%), Matt Lengel (22%), Jordan Franks (10%)

A.J. Green is done for the season. Normally that would mean that we should expect to see guys like John Ross be able to show their skills, but the Bengals are currently a trainwreck. They are limping into the offseason, and I'm sure Bengals fans would rather see the season end now instead of watching this patchwork team play.

Cleveland Browns - Disappearing Duke

Quarterback: Baker Mayfield (100%)

Running Backs: Nick Chubb (47%), Duke Johnson (35%)

Wide Receivers: Jarvis Landry (81%), Antonio Callaway (71%), Rashard Higgins (58%), Breshad Perriman (46%), Damion Ratley (12%)

Tight Ends: David Njoku (81%), Darren Fells (26%), Orson Charles (11%), Seth DeValve (11%)

Where has Duke gone? After busting out with 9 catches for 78 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs, Johnson's workload has fallen off a cliff. He's been on the field for no more than 35% of the team's snaps in the past 3 weeks, which is disheartening knowing what he is capable of producing.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Merry-Go-Round

Quarterback: Ben Roethlisberger (100%)

Running Backs: James Conner (72%), Jaylen Samuels (25%)

Wide Receivers: Antonio Brown (99%), JuJu Smith-Schuster (88%), Ryan Switzer (35%), Justin Hunter (26%), Darrius Heyward-Bey (19%)

Tight Ends: Vance McDonald (65%), Jesse James (49%), Xavier Grimble (10%)

It's time to jump on the Samuels train, folks. With James Conner out with an ankle injury, Jaylen Samuels immediately becomes an interesting option not only this week, but potentially for the fantasy playoffs depending on the severity of Conner's injury. We're yet to really see what he can do on the ground, but he'll get a solid enough matchup to prove himself this week when the Steelers face the Oakland Raiders.
