Fantasy Football: 3 Players You Can Drop After Week 13
Alshon Jeffery has been all but phased out of the Eagles' offense in recent weeks. Which other players can you drop this week?

For a while there it really seemed like Alshon Jeffery was here to save your fantasy teams. Offseason shoulder surgery sidelined him through training camp and a few weeks into the season, but Jeffery was electric in the weeks following his return. From Week 4 to Week 10, he was averaging 8.7 targets, 5.5 receptions, 64.8 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game.

But since Golden Tate came to town those numbers have plummeted. Over the last three games, he's averaged just 4.3 targets, 3.3 receptions and 34.3 yards without a score. It doesn't take a fantasy analyst to tell you that those numbers aren't great.

It looks like his role on the team has shifted as well. He's still playing a lot of snaps, but his target market share has dropped significantly (down to just 13% over the last three games) and his average depth of target (aDOT) has been in a freefall from 11.0 yards all the way down to 7.4. Meanwhile Nelson Agholor's aDOT has spiked up to 13.8 in that time, so it looks like the team isn't relying on Jeffery for big plays anymore.

Jeffery isn't getting the targets he needs to be a consistent fantasy producer, nor is he getting the high-value downfield kind targets necessary to sustain fantasy relevance on such a minimal target share. His complete lack of involvement in the red zone is just the final nail in the coffin. If you need to make room on your roster for playoff stashes and handcuffs, you can drop Jeffery.
