8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 14

Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Whether it's Lamar Jackson or the return of Joe Flacco at quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens this week, the starter is going to be worth a look against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs rank 14th in numberFire's Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play metric, but real-world efficiency and fantasy efficiency can be very different things. KC's high-powered offense forces teams to get pass-heavy, and that leaves them allowing 15.25 more passing yards per game (295.0) than any other team in the NFL. The 1.9 passing touchdowns per game they have allowed are also the ninth-most in the NFL. This has them giving up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing passers.

Lamar Jackson has been a terrific fantasy option in his three starts, finishing as fantasy football's QB13, QB15, and QB12, with 15.9, 20.2 and 16.5 fantasy points. His rushing gives him a terrific floor, with at least 70 rushing yards in each of his three starts, averaging 88.3 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game on the ground. As outlined, a matchup with the Chiefs should also be a boon for his passing numbers.

Flacco isn't the prolific fantasy producer that Jackson has been, but he did turn in 15-plus fantasy points in five of his nine starts before getting injured, with at least 17.8 fantasy points in four of those. In a matchup this good, he's certainly capable of a solid fantasy showing if he's back in action.
