Arizona Cardinals - No Shoes, No Sherfield, No Service
Quarterback: Josh Rosen (100%)
Running Back: David Johnson (89%), Chase Edmonds (14%)
Wide Receivers: Larry Fitzgerald (96%), Trent Sherfield (93%), J.J. Nelson (69%), Jalen Tolliver (17%)
Tight End: Ricky Seals-Jones (63%), Jermaine Gresham (43%), John Phillips (10%)
Entering Week 14, Trent Sherfield's previous high usage was when he saw 53% of the team's snaps back in Week 10. With Christian Kirk out, that number skyrocketed to 93%, and the opportunity beget production. Sherfield finished with 5 catches on 7 targets for 77 yards in the Arizona Cardinals' loss to the Detroit Lions. With Kirk out for the season, Sherfield is a very intriguing play this week in a juicy matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. If you want to take a gamble, Sherfield could be a difference maker, especially in daily leagues where he's at or near minimum salary across the industry.
Los Angeles Rams - Disappearing Act
Quarterback: Jared Goff (100%)
Running Backs: Todd Gurley (98%)
Wide Receivers: Josh Reynolds (100%), Robert Woods (100%), Brandin Cooks (98%)
Tight Ends: Gerald Everett (57%), Tyler Higbee (43%)
When the top five options on offense play at least 98% of the snaps, you can quickly rule out a blowout. In the Los Angeles Rams' case, you can rule out a win entirely. The team couldn't do anything to match the Chicago Bears' defense. After six straight weeks of putting up 29 or more points, they put up a measly 6 in Week 14. They'll look to bounce back this week against the Eagles in an important battle to help determine playoff seeding.
San Francisco 49ers - Dadun, Dadun...WIL-SON
Quarterback: Nick Mullens (100%)
Running Backs: Jeff Wilson (86%), Kyle Juszczyk (58%)
Wide Receivers: Dante Pettis (85%), Kendrick Bourne (60%), Marquise Goodwin (33%), Trent Taylor (32%)
Tight Ends: George Kittle (92%), Garrett Celek (38%)
Taking over for the injured Matt Breida, San Francisco 49ers running back Jeff Wilson once again put together a solid performance, even if it didn't quite reach his Week 13 heights. Fortunately for him, in Week 15 he'll once again face the Seattle Seahawks team that he torched for 134 total yards a week ago. The Hawks have given up at least 83 yards and a score to an opposing back in each of their past six weeks.
