1. Marlon Mack Is Eating in the Red Zone
From Week 13 through Week 15, Marlon Mack's touch counts have risen each outing -- 9, 14 and 28.
The Mack experience has been a bumpy one this season, with injuries and offensive shockers, like the one in Jacksonville. But Mack has turned into a red-zone monster for the Indianapolis Colts.
Despite playing in just 10 games, Mack has seen 28 red-zone carries and is logging a 46.7% share of Indy's red-zone rushing attempts. The 28 red-zone carries rank 16th among all backs -- again: Mack has played in only 10 games -- and he's got 17 carries inside the 10, including 10 inside the 5.
Mack is at home versus the New York Giants in Week 16, and it's a smash spot for him. Indy is a huge 10.0-point favorite, and Mack is an RB1 option, with our models ranking him as the RB11 this week.
2. Jarvis Landry Is Due
In Cleveland, things are changing for the better, and Baker Mayfield's play has elevated the fantasy stocks of those around him.
With a 37% red-zone target share and 17 total red-zone looks this season, Jarvis Landry continues to be targeted in prime situations. His 17 red-zone targets rank 10th among all receivers.
Against the Denver Broncos this past Saturday, Landry saw eight targets but caught only three of them. Despite the lackluster game, Landry is still getting 50% of the targets for Cleveland inside the 10-yard-line.
Overall, Landry has been the Browns' clear number-one wideout lately. In the past two weeks, he's got a 23% target share while no other Cleveland receiver has a target share north of 14%. The slot man has seen 28% of the Browns' air yards in that span, as well.
In Week 16, Cleveland hosts the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Browns are a 7.0-point favorite. The Bengals' defense has been bad this year, ranking in the bottom 10 in both pass D and overall defense. We have Landry projected as the WR21 this week, making him a solid WR2 play.
