Nick Foles has been confirmed as the Philadelphia Eagles' starting quarterback for Week 16's meeting with the Houston Texans.
Foles has made three starts this season, and while a couple of those were duds, with 10.1 fantasy points or fewer, he did turn in a 15.66-FanDuel-point performance in Week 2.
His 5.30 adjusted net yards per pass attempt are well below his career average (6.51), but a lack of efficiency over a three-game sample isn't really something to be overly concerned with. That career average would tie him for 16th in the NFL this year, and he's shown that he can handle starting duties with some competence.
A matchup with the Houston Texans puts him in a solid spot this week as well, as Houston ranks only 21st in numberFire's Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play metric, and getting even a low-end starting quarterback priced at the minimum salary in this spot creates some serious value.
