The Eagles have won their last two games to keep their postseason hopes alive, and in addition to Zach Ertz they have Nick Foles to thank in Week 16, after Foles amassed 471 passing yards and four touchdowns against the Houston Texans.
The yards were the most in a single game in Eagles franchise history, and also marked the fourth time that Foles has eclipsed the 400-yard mark in a game. This too is an Eagles record, breaking a tie with Sonny Jurgensen. It was also the second time that Foles has thrown for at least 400 yards and four touchdowns in a game, after throwing for 406 yards and seven scores against the Oakland Raiders in Week 9 of the 2013 season. This is another Eagles record.
As impressive as the counting stats are, Foles also enjoyed one of the more efficient games by a quarterback this season according to numberFire metrics. Foles' 0.51 Passing NEP per drop back were the third most by a quarterback in a game in which they attempted at least 40 passes this season. It was the second most by an Eagles quarterback in any game in 2018, trailing only the 0.53 that Carson Wentz managed in Week 6 against the New York Giants
