FanDuel Price: $8,500
Projected Points: 19.0
With one week to go, Saquon Barkley has already racked up the seventh-most yards from scrimmage (1,886) of any rookie running back in NFL history. The New York Giants has certainly revolved around him this season, as his 41.27% market share is higher than any other player in the league not named Ezekiel Elliott. And he will likely be heavily involved once again in Week 17, as the Giants are currently 6.0 point favorites over the Dallas Cowboys. New York also has a respectable 24.25-point implied total, setting up for a solid ceiling from Barkley.
Our models agree, projecting the star rookie to lead all running backs with 19.0 FanDuel points in Week 17. Much of that work is projected to come via the passing game, with Barkley pegged to lead all players at his position in all of targets (9.1), receptions (6.5), receiving yards (51.1) and receiving touchdowns (0.3). That should come as no surprise, considering Barkley piled up a massive 14 receptions for 80 receiving yards in his first meeting with the Cowboys earlier this season.
With the Giants out of playoff contention, don't miss out on your last chance to roster their star running back.
