Tennessee is also 12th in overall Special Teams NEP, and in terms of raw yards per play, the Titans have averaged 5.3 while conceding 5.3. Given these numbers, it is not hard to see why they are almost squarely in the middle of the pack and on the bubble for a playoff spot.
The running game has been their comparative strength, but even here, they have not truly stood out. The Titans are tied for the eighth-lowest fumble rate on rushes but are just 15th in yards per carry (4.4) and 20th in first downs per rush (24.2%).
