With the Week 17 slate having many uncertainties, DFS players can look towards the Baltimore Ravens as one of the teams that shouldn't be doing anything out of the norm. The team will be playing for a playoff bid against the Cleveland Browns.
Lamar Jackson continues to provide a high floor that is attractive for cash-game formats. His worst of the six starts he’s had from a fantasy perspective came week against the Los Angeles Chargers -- a game in which he posted 16 DraftKings points. Not bad given that it was a road game against a tough defense. Over his six starts, he’s averaged 18.9 DraftKings points.
The start was also his best passing outing statistically, throwing for 204 passing yards on 22 attempts, though 68 of those yards came on one play. While the total volume is pretty low in today’s passing game, on a per-attempt basis, that settles in at a high average at 9.27. His efficiency metrics appear to agree, as well, with a 1.09 passing air conversion ratio (PACR), which just explains how much of the passing yardage gets converted after the initial depth of target. A higher PACR signifies better efficiency.
Jackson is still running at a high clip and will continue to be a staple in Week 17. Committee running backs see the amount of rushing volume Jackson has regularly been logging, which pads his floor every week. Since his Week 11 initial start, Jackson has averaged 14.4 rush attempts per game. He also hasn’t managed to hit the end zone on the ground over his last four games, so he hasn't flashed his ultimate ceiling lately.
Jackson should get the full reign of snaps barring any in-game injuries and figures to be one of the safer options below the $6,000 mark.
