7 NFL FanDuel Value Plays for Week 17
With Phillip Lindsay out, Royce Freeman stands to see a big role against the Chargers. Which other low-cost plays could pop in Week 17?

Cameron Brate, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Price: $4,900

With tight ends such a mess outside of the top tier this season, going cheap with your value plays has been beneficial. With so few players at the position safe from complete dud games, playing one that's cheap enough to avoid sinking your lineup with a dud has been important.

Cameron Brate is only averaging 3.8 targets per game since O.J. Howard went down, but that's good for a 15-game pace of 57 targets -- a mark that would rank 16th at the position this season.

In addition to their struggles with running backs, our models have the Falcons ranked 23rd against the pass this season, and even with some limited volume, that positions Brate well to turn in an efficient enough performance to return value on a price tag this low.
